Your Tasks
As an electrical engineer at KOMAB, you will work on both internal projects and consulting assignments with customers in the industrial sector. The tasks vary between designing electrical systems, modernizing existing systems, and engineering new equipment.
An important part of the role involves replacing or upgrading control systems, developing solutions for new installations, and ensuring that electrical systems function safely and efficiently. You may also work with programming and customization of control systems, where you collaborate with the customer and colleagues to contribute solutions that work in practice. The role involves close customer contact and participation throughout the entire project process, from idea and engineering to finished solution.
Work takes place both from the office and at industrial facilities, which provides a varied day where technology meets reality.
Travel may occur.
Your Background/Your Qualities
We are seeking someone with a good understanding of electrical power, automation, or industrial electrical systems. You may have an engineering degree in the electrical field, but we are equally interested in you who have built your expertise through practical experience, such as being an electrician.
Perhaps you work today as an industrial electrician, distribution electrician, or panel builder and feel that you want to develop further toward design and project work. For us, it's more important that you have the right technical foundation and a genuine interest in finding smart solutions than the exact educational path you have taken.
As a person, you are social, curious, and enjoy collaborating with both customers and colleagues. Since you will be representing KOMAB at customer facilities, we place great emphasis on your ability to build trust and establish good relationships. Like your future colleagues, you enjoy taking initiative, solving problems, and contributing to the company's development.
