The Life Science Bachelor's Program at Umeå University is based on both the Department of Molecular Biology and the Department of Chemistry. This position will be located at the Department of Chemistry, one of the largest departments within the Faculty of Science and Technology with approximately 200 employees and strong, expanding research and teaching activities.

Job Duties
Working as a teaching assistant means you are employed at Umeå University and work with tasks related to the Life Science Program at the Department of Chemistry or the Department of Molecular Biology. This may include joint program activities such as study visits, inviting speakers to inspiration seminars, and social activities, as well as outreach activities such as presenting the program to school classes, participating in information days, and ensuring the website is kept updated. The work also includes communication and responsibility for the shared program's Canvas page as well as active participation in program council meetings.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:
you are registered as an active student in the Life Science Program at Umeå University,
you have completed at least 45 higher education credits within the educational program and are on track with your ongoing studies,
you have good social skills and a strong interest in working to improve and develop the Life Science Program. Great weight will be placed on personal qualities.
you have good ability to work both independently and in groups.
