We are seeking a meticulous and responsible lathe operator for our client in Trollhättan. You will become an important part of production where precision, quality, and technical understanding are central to daily work.
About the Position
As a lathe operator, you will set up, operate, and monitor lathe machines according to drawings and given specifications. You will prepare machines, install and adjust tools, and select appropriate cutting tools and parameters.
The role also includes inspecting and quality controlling finished parts, performing basic troubleshooting, and reporting deviations. You are responsible for basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and work according to the company's routines for quality, work environment, and safety.
About You
Formal Qualifications
We are looking for someone with technical understanding and an interest in turning and cutting operations. You have a good ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production documentation, as well as experience with measurement techniques and quality control.
As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and quality-conscious. You enjoy practical work and have a structured work approach. You can work independently but also collaborate well with other team members in production.
Desirable Qualifications
It is desirable if you have experience working in the workshop or manufacturing industry.
