We are looking for you to be an engaged and present school psychologist who wants to work preventatively and promote health with children and young people in the school environment. With us, you work at two or three elementary schools. In each school's student health team, you work together with school counselors, school nurses, special education teachers, special education specialists, and school leadership to support students' social and learning development. You are also part of our network of school psychologists. There you meet colleagues for experience exchange, development work, and external supervision. The schools are located centrally in Eskilstuna but also in rural areas. Therefore, it is an advantage if you have a B-category driver's license, but it is not a requirement.

WORK TASKS
As a school psychologist, you contribute your psychological expertise to create a safe and supportive environment where all students can develop. You work closely with school staff and the student health team to help students feel well and develop both socially and academically. A student health team consists of different professionals who work for students' health and learning. The work includes supervising and providing advice to school staff, both individually and in groups, so they can better support students' development. You also provide support and guidance to guardians, write referrals, and collaborate with external actors such as BUP and Habiliteringen. When needed, you conduct psychological assessments, for example when there is suspicion of intellectual disability. Your expertise is used in educational initiatives and projects that promote students' school attendance and well-being. As a school psychologist, you do not work with treatment or therapy.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you to be a licensed psychologist. You are confident in yourself, flexible, and have the ability to adapt to the needs of students and schools. Your empathetic and attentive approach means you build trust and meet people with respect. We would like to see that you have previously worked with children and young people. You are curious and exploratory in your way of working and collaborating. You take responsibility and are accustomed to independently planning, prioritizing, and structuring your work.
