We believe in being close to our customers and currently have seven offices from Karlstad in the north to Ystad in the south. What does the role offer? As a transport manager, you're responsible for planning and coordinating daily transport operations. You ensure that drivers, vehicles, and customer needs work together efficiently. The role also includes supervisory responsibility for drivers and responsibility for fleet-related matters. Your work tasks include, among other things: plan and allocate transports, vehicles, and drivers handle customer orders and continuously adapt planning to new circumstances have daily contact with drivers, customers, and internal colleagues plan with focus on efficiency, capacity utilization, and good resource use supervise drivers and communicate priorities and changes handle staffing changes and ensure that relevant regulations regarding working hours and work environment are followed plan and follow up on vehicle service and maintenance, and maintain contact with workshops You'll become part of a team of six transport managers at different locations in Sweden. You work closely together and maintain daily contact to create smoothly functioning transport operations. In this role, you can work from our office in Jönköping or our office in Borås. Who are you? We're looking for someone with experience from the transport industry who has worked with some form of transport planning and/or logistics. You have good insight into transport operations and are accustomed to working in an environment where planning and conditions can change quickly. You have good computer and system skills and communicate fluently in Swedish. If you've previously worked as a driver or in a supervisory role, we see that as an asset. To succeed in this role, you need to thrive in a daily routine where planning sometimes changes quickly. You find it easy to get the full picture, prioritize, and find solutions when something doesn't go according to plan. At the same time, you're clear in your communication and comfortable making decisions and providing direction for others.
