Transjouren in Malmö is looking for an organizational developer and collaboration coordinator on a part-time basis. This is a temporary position because our current employee is on leave.

About Transjouren in Malmö
Transjouren in Malmö is a nonprofit association working to improve living conditions for young transgender people. The association is politically and religiously independent and works toward an equal society free from violence, based on a norm-critical, feminist, antiracist, and intersectional perspective.
Our work is conducted through support services, outreach activities, advocacy, and collaboration with other organizations.
All members are volunteers who are transgender people, non-binary people, queer people, and/or women who want to support transgender people.
About the position
As an organizational developer and collaboration coordinator, you will have a broad role working both internally within the association and outward-facing. You work independently with your areas of responsibility and in close collaboration with the board and the association's volunteer members.
Main responsibilities
Work with internal professional development and knowledge sharing among members.
Stay informed on issues relevant to Transjouren's work and contribute to the organization's internal development.
Identify needs for knowledge and development among the board and volunteer members.
Manage Transjouren's social media and contribute to how the association communicates externally.
Provide support to the association's advocacy group.
Maintain contact and collaborate with other organizations, networks, and collaboration groups.
Contribute to developing Transjouren's relationships with other organizations.
Who are we looking for?
Requirements:
Experience with association work, organizing, or other collective change work.
Experience working in or with nonprofit organizations.
Knowledge of queer, feminist, and antiracist perspectives, and alignment with Transjouren's core values.
Ability to create social media content, such as texts, posts, or simple graphics, and communicate professionally on behalf of the association.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive tasks forward.
Comfort collaborating with the board and volunteer members and communicating clearly.
Ability to handle difficult conversations and set boundaries when needed.
Since Transjouren is a member-governed organization, you need to take responsibility for your tasks while being responsive to the board's and members' needs and respecting that final decisions rest with the volunteers.
Desirable qualifications
Roots in Malmö's nonprofit sector and good connections within Malmö's nonprofit associations.
Previous work with LGBTQIA+ issues.
Experience with organizational development or a similar role.
Project management or coordination experience.
Experience with antiracist process facilitation.
Knowledge of conflict management and resolution.
Experience with advocacy and/or mobilization.
Experience collaborating with other organizations and networks.
Employment terms
Employment type: Temporary position
Scope: 50%
Period: Until 5/28 2028, with possibility of extension
Working hours: Work takes place mainly during daytime, but evening and weekend work occurs.
Salary: Fixed monthly salary, by agreement
Location: Transjouren's office in Malmö
