The Forensic Psychiatry Regional Clinic is a specialized unit within forensic psychiatry that cares for both women and men, where the majority of our patients are under court-ordered care. We also admit patients from the correctional system who require psychiatric care and treatment. We serve the entire country as our catchment area. The clinic is divided into different units with departments that have different specializations, which provides excellent opportunities to work in the area that you find particularly interesting. 3 position(s). DUTIES The trainee program, which runs for 12 weeks, offers you as a nurse a unique opportunity to gain broad knowledge and practical experience working with patients with mental disabilities in various forms of care. Would you find it interesting to gain greater knowledge of psychiatric healthcare work? Then the trainee program is for you! We offer you: - Placement in 24-hour care in three different departments where you gain insight into several different care processes in different care units. - Independent work with support from experienced nurses at each workplace. You will work in addition to regular staff, and in this way will always have a regular nurse as a colleague. - Weekly supervision by a PhD-holding psychiatric nurse during the trainee period as well as access to lectures. - Permanent employment within Forensic Psychiatry - There is also the possibility to apply for paid further education to become a specialist nurse in psychiatric care. - After completing the trainee program, more department-specific orientation can still be offered, which is done in consultation with the responsible department manager. During the trainee program, you and your employer will plan which department you will continue your position in. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is - A licensed nurse - Engaged in your work and contributes to a good work environment - Resourceful and skilled at creating and maintaining good relationships - Adaptable to prevailing situations and enjoys having a rich and varied day We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
