SHN Cargo is seeking a traffic coordinator for our traffic office in Nässjö. We are looking for someone who wants to work in a central operational role where planning, coordination, and problem-solving are a natural part of everyday work.
As a traffic coordinator, you will lead and monitor our traffic operations and handle short-term planning of personnel, vehicles, and other resources. You will be in regular contact with, among others, train drivers, customers, partner companies, and Trafikverket. The role also includes managing changes to traffic arrangements, issuing train documentation, and responding to disruptions and other deviations.
The work often requires balancing multiple different conditions. For this reason, we are looking for someone who is organized, solution-oriented, and enjoys putting together a complex puzzle. You need to be able to prioritize, make decisions, and maintain an overview even when conditions change rapidly.
Part of the work involves personnel and resource planning. Understanding of collective agreements, working time regulations, and other rules that affect planning is therefore important.
We believe you are responsible, reliable, stress-resistant, and have good organizational skills. You have strong computer skills, can quickly adapt to new IT systems, and express yourself well in Swedish and English. These qualities and qualifications are also in line with the position's formal requirements.
Previous experience from the railway industry, logistics, transport, traffic management, or resource planning is a merit, but we place great weight on personal suitability and your ability to plan, collaborate, and solve problems.
This is a permanent full-time position. We apply a six-month probationary period. Since our operations run 24/7, shift work and combined working time/on-call duty on weekends occur.
