Do you want to lead and develop an international transport operation with significant scope to make an impact? Kurt Nagel Sverige is in a growth phase and is seeking a Traffic Manager who wants to develop the business, organization, and the company's position in the Swedish market. About the Company Kurt Nagel Sverige AB is part of the international Nagel-Group, one of Europe's leading logistics operators specializing in temperature-controlled transport and food logistics. Through an extensive European network, the group transports chilled and frozen food across borders daily. In Landskrona, approximately 45 employees work in transport, warehouse, and administrative support functions. The warehouse operation has approximately 20,000 pallet spaces. The Transport Department is responsible for international and domestic road transport in close collaboration with the company's network of contracted carriers. The operation is characterized by a high pace, close cooperation, and an ambition to develop the business, working methods, processes, and service. This provides access to the group's resources and contact network combined with local flexibility, short decision-making paths, and great opportunities to influence. About the Role As Traffic Manager, you have overall responsibility for Kurt Nagel Sverige's import, export, and domestic transport operations. You lead the transport organization consisting of six traffic coordinators and two team leaders responsible for import and export respectively. Your task is to provide the team with the conditions to deliver an efficient, profitable, and high-quality transport operation. The role has a strategic and commercial focus where you also work closely with daily operations and need to be able to support the business operationally when the situation requires it. As a member of the local management team, you work closely with the CEO, sales, Contract Logistics, warehouse, HR, and finance. You are also an important contact point toward Nagel-Group, primarily in Germany and the Nordic region. The role therefore involves some travel and active networking within the group. Your main areas of responsibility include: - Lead, develop, and monitor the transport organization and its team leaders - Ensure efficient and profitable management of import, export, and domestic transport - Optimize transport flows, capacity utilization, and working methods - Monitor KPIs, delivery accuracy, service level, and financial results - Negotiate prices, agreements, and terms with carriers, ferry operators, and other suppliers - Support the sales organization with calculations, transport arrangements, quotation, and tender work - Participate in customer meetings and be responsible for ongoing monitoring of delivery and quality - Develop cooperation between the transport department and the company's other functions - Drive improvement initiatives related to processes, systems, and organization - Contribute to Kurt Nagel Sverige's continued growth and strategic development You will have significant influence over operations and the opportunity to develop new working methods. Kurt Nagel values collaboration and buy-in, and you are expected to create participation and bring the team and organization along in change initiatives. About You We are looking for someone with solid understanding of international road transport and freight forwarding.
