We are seeking hourly substitutes for our cooking kitchens where we prepare delicious and nutritious meals every day for Helsingborg's care facilities. About the Workplace MatOmsorg, the meals organization of the Care and Social Services Administration, delivers meals to our operations 365 days a year. Dinner consists of a hot main course and dessert, and evening meals are lighter fare. Our four cooking kitchens prepare nearly 2,500 portions per day. The workplace is smoke-free and health-conscious. As a substitute, you receive a wellness allowance of 250 kronor for each month you work. Work Tasks You will be part of a team consisting of cooks, meal assistants, nutrition assistant, and kitchen manager. The meals prepared are served both on-site but mainly delivered to care facilities, short-term units, meeting points, and LSS units. Your work tasks include preparation, cooking, quality controls, ordering, handling goods deliveries, cleaning and sanitation, and other duties that occur in a cooking kitchen. We place great emphasis on contributing to good quality of life for the customer, and part of your work involves sharing your thoughts on how meals can be further developed to create pleasant experiences. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a cook or has relevant experience in kitchen work. We would like you to have experience working in a large-scale kitchen. Furthermore, it is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is meritorious if you have experience working with adapted meals (special diets), the meal data program Mashie or similar systems, or with meals in elderly care. It is also meritorious if you have a B driver's license.
