Your Assignment
As an hourly substitute, you need to be able to step in on short notice when needed, both for individual days and longer periods. You will work at several of our preschools and with children of different ages. You play, read, sing, and draw with the children. You contribute practically by assisting with, for example, dressing and undressing, hygiene, and meals. You are active both indoors and outdoors. Together with other competent staff members, you contribute to a safe, fun, and developmental environment for each child.
Your Experience
For this position, you are required to have:
good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
It is advantageous if you also have:
ongoing or completed secondary or post-secondary education as a childcare worker
experience working in preschool
experience from care, welfare, or other activities where you have previously worked with people and/or children.

To succeed in the role of hourly substitute, it is important that you are an available, responsible, and helpful person who genuinely enjoys working with children. You have an easy time collaborating and building good relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. You listen, relate to others, and are cooperative. In a self-directed manner, you have the ability to manage, structure, and take responsibility for your time and work tasks. At the same time, you have an easy time taking your own initiative, finding solutions, and starting activities without waiting for instructions. To deliver in this role, it is important that you are flexible, adaptable, and reachable. You answer your phone and can quickly arrive at one of the preschools on short notice. You have no problem working at multiple preschools, departments, and with children of different ages.
