About the Job As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability and provide the support needed for the client to live an independent life on their own terms. The work is always based on the client's individual needs and wishes. Tasks may include: personal care and hygiene mobility assistance cooking and household chores training and activities social support and companionship No two clients are alike, which makes the work both varied and rewarding. We Are Looking for You You are responsible, attentive, and have a genuine interest in people. You work well with others, are confident in yourself, and can adapt to different situations. Experience in personal assistance is a plus, but we place great importance on personal suitability. At Särnmark, you will receive an introduction with the client and training in the role of personal assistant. About the Employment We offer a temporary position. Working hours vary depending on the client and may be scheduled during day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Salary and other employment terms are in accordance with the collective agreement for Personal Assistance (Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal). In your application, you must specify your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to provide proof of permanent residence in Sweden to be employed at Särnmark.
