Alma Assistans is a dedicated company that works in collaboration with clients to provide personalized personal assistance. We work closely with our clients and understand that good relationships are the key to well-functioning assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our headquarters in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Göteborg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö. We are now seeking personal care assistants for a 24-hour assistance assignment. The client is a 62-year-old man with a muscle disease who requires support and help around the clock. He uses a wheelchair and is transferred with the help of a ceiling lift. He primarily needs help with his breathing and respiratory equipment. Additionally, he needs assistance with getting dressed and undressed, taking medication, hygiene and showering. Help with shopping, preparing and organizing meals, as well as portioning food and receiving help with eating. Help with routine household chores such as cleaning and laundry. You will also accompany the client to, for example, hospital and medical visits. The man has an interest in cars/motorcycles and animals. He occasionally dog-sits for friends and acquaintances, so you should not have allergies to or be afraid of dogs. He has expressed a desire to do more short activities and outings. We believe that you are at least 40 years old and have some life experience. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and that the cooperation between the care team and family works well. You are social and outgoing, and are someone who enjoys organizing activities and can motivate others to participate. You are also attentive and empathetic to the client's daily condition and needs. It is extremely important that you are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, for good communication between client and assistant. And to be able to document important information.
