The Food Service and Cleaning Department is part of Nässjö Municipality's Technical Service Administration and is responsible for food service and cleaning operations for the municipality's activities in education and care. The department maintains high ambitions and strives to deliver meals and cleaning services of good quality.
Meals for care services are provided as complete meals to elderly care facilities, pensioners in independent living, and to the facilities' restaurants. Meals for schools are produced in preparation kitchens and delivered as hot main components to preschools and schools' receiving kitchens, where the meals are supplemented with other components.
We offer work in central Nässjö, Forserum, Malmbäck, Bodafors, and Anneberg. We are now seeking temporary staff, and for the right person there are good opportunities for longer-term assignments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As temporary staff in food service and cleaning, you will work with both facility maintenance and kitchen tasks based on the operations' needs, which makes the work both varied and dynamic. You may work at different workplaces within the municipality and therefore need to quickly adapt to new environments and routines.
The role includes contributing to clean, safe, and pleasant environments in, for example, preschools, schools, and other facilities. At the same time, you may work in kitchens where you help prepare and serve meals as well as handle dishwashing and other common work tasks. You will thus be an important part in ensuring that both daily operations and meal service run smoothly and in an organized manner.
The work requires flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude, as you sometimes need to familiarize yourself with new workplaces and tasks on short notice.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a service-oriented environment. You are responsible and take your own initiative in your work, while also collaborating well with others and contributing to a good work environment.
Since work as temporary staff means you may work at different workplaces with varying tasks, you need to be flexible and quickly adapt to new routines. You feel comfortable working both independently and together with colleagues, and you are thorough with a good eye for what needs to be done, whether it involves creating a clean and pleasant environment or contributing to smooth meal service operations.
Experience in facility maintenance and/or kitchen work is advantageous but not required. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of hygiene routines and food handling. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We see that you are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the work involves following instructions, adhering to routines, and communicating clearly and securely in the operations.
Salary form: Hourly wage.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date according to agreement.
