Föreningen Betaniahemmet is a non-profit organization that provides housing and day services for individuals covered by LSS. At our center, people are our priority, and our goal is to create a safe, meaningful, and developmental daily environment for our participants.
We are now seeking substitutes for our day services in Göteborg. With us, you'll find meaningful work where you and your colleagues help our participants have a good and fulfilling day.
About the Work
As a substitute in day services, you are an important part of the participants' daily lives. You work alongside permanent staff and provide support based on each person's individual needs, abilities, and goals.
Our participants include individuals with:
Intellectual disabilities
Autism
Comprehensive support and care needs
Participants have their various workplaces and activities within the services. Your role is to provide support, create a sense of security, motivate, and enable participation and development.
The work may also involve personal care assistance, so you need to be comfortable helping with such tasks.
At several of our facilities, participants may display behaviors that can sometimes be perceived as challenging. Therefore, it's important that you feel confident in yourself, are emotionally stable, maintain a calm and respectful approach, and can keep your composure. You need to be clear in your communication and adapt your support based on the situation and individual needs.
Our Facilities
We have day services at three locations in Göteborg:
Askim
Önnered
Nya Varvet
Our facilities differ, and participants' needs vary. It would therefore be helpful if you could consider working as a substitute at all our facilities, though you're welcome to indicate if you have a particular location you're especially interested in.

We believe you are:
Responsible and reliable
Confident and emotionally stable
Engaged and responsive
Respectful and flexible
A strong team player
Comfortable providing both educational support and personal care assistance
Experience with LSS, day services, care work, or similar positions is a plus, but not required. What matters most is that you have the right attitude, are curious to learn, and want to make a difference for our participants.
