The Care and Social Services Department provides service, support, care, and assistance to older adults and people with disabilities, and is responsible for exercising authority in accordance with current legislation. The department operates within elderly care, LSS (disability services), social psychiatry, health and medical care, family support, and authority functions. All work is carried out with the individual in focus, based on our core values: respectful treatment, participation, trust, and security. Arhem is a specialized residential facility for older adults with a focus on cognitive illness/dementia. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking temporary staff for Arhem who can start working during the fall and who preferably have the opportunity to continue working during the Christmas and New Year period. As a temporary staff member with us, you work both independently and together with colleagues. The work always starts from the individual's needs, wishes, and abilities. Your job duties include: • personal care and support in daily life • monitoring and handling of alarms • medication management and simple health and medical care services following delegation • social documentation • meals, activities, and social interaction with residents. Operations run 24/7, and we're seeking temporary staff for day, evening, and night shifts, both weekdays and weekends. We have a particular need for those who can and want to work nights. We'd like you to have the opportunity to work regularly starting now and to be available during Christmas and New Year, when the need for temporary staff is especially high. QUALIFICATIONS Arhem is a dementia facility, and the work therefore places special demands on secure and professional treatment. We're looking for someone who is attentive, patient, and responsible, and who can adapt your work approach to each individual. We're looking for someone who: • is at least 18 years old • has good Swedish language skills in speaking and writing, as the work involves documentation obligations • has basic computer skills • has respectful and secure treatment and enjoys working with older people. Meriting factors: • It's a merit if you have education within care and social services or previous experience in elderly care and dementia care. • Experience with night work and the ability to work nights is a merit. • Since Arhem also serves Finnish-speaking older adults, Finnish language skills are a merit. We're primarily looking for temporary staff who can start working now and who have the opportunity to work during the Christmas and New Year period.
