JOB DUTIES About the role As a substitute: education assistant, you work closely with both students and teachers. The teacher plans the instruction and you serve as a supporting hand in carrying out school tasks. Much of the work involves building relationships and creating structure based on students' needs and interests. Together with the teacher, you structure and implement the students' school day. You participate in teacher-led instruction and are with the students in all settings during the day, such as during breaks and pedagogical mealtimes. Qualifications We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills and who: Follows established action plans regarding students. Follows school routines and actively participates in operations with a professional approach. Can build and maintain secure relationships with both students and colleagues. Is active in professional contexts, such as meetings and pedagogical discussions. Communicates clearly and ensures that messages get across and that expectations are clear to all involved parties. QUALIFICATIONS Meritorious: · Experience from pedagogical work · Knowledge of NPF · Completed AAC or PECS training · Experience working in adapted primary school Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
