Read more at timra.se Description Would you like to work as a nurse in municipal health and medical care while having the opportunity for flexible work? We are now seeking registered nurses and district nurses for temporary positions within Health and Medical Care in Timrå Municipality. The need is primarily for evenings and nights as well as weekends, but daytime work may also occur. In Timrå Municipality, we work with well-developed teamwork where nurses, care personnel, rehabilitation staff, planners, unit managers, and benefits officers collaborate around the patient. Together we work for safe, person-centered and accessible care based on each patient's needs and circumstances. When working evenings, nights, and weekends, you work together with nursing colleagues and have the entire municipality as your work area during on-call time. The assignment includes, among other things, special housing facilities, home care services, and patients connected to Palliative Medicine who need municipal nursing services. Work Tasks As a nurse in municipal health and medical care, you have independent and varied work. You assess, plan, organize, and perform medical treatment and care interventions based on the patient's needs. The work includes, among other things: making independent assessments of patients' health status and need for interventions planning and implementing health and medical care interventions prioritizing and handling both planned and acute situations collaborating with other professionals within the municipality and with regional operations guiding and delegating health and medical care tasks to care personnel being advisory and providing support to care personnel and other professionals regarding the patient documenting and following up on completed interventions. The work involves significant personal responsibility while you have close collaboration with nursing colleagues and other professionals. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. Further education as a district nurse is a merit. To thrive in the role, you need to feel confident working independently and be able to make your own assessments and prioritizations. You need to be able to maintain structure and make decisions even when circumstances change rapidly. The position is a temporary assignment where the need is primarily in the evenings, nights, and weekends. Daytime shifts may also occur.
