Galaxen short-term and leisure center is now seeking engaged and responsible temporary staff who want to become part of our team. At Galaxen we meet children and young people with various functional variations and individual needs. For us, safety, joy, and participation are important parts of everyday life. We work with individualized support and place great emphasis on respectful treatment, structure, and good relationships. As temporary staff at Galaxen, you become an important part of the operation. You are there to support children and young people in their everyday lives and help create a safe, fun, and meaningful time with us. The work is varied and can include providing support in everyday situations and personal care, planning and participating in various activities, and encouraging participation and independence. You work together with your colleagues and always base your approach on each child's and young person's individual needs and circumstances. As temporary staff, you work as needed, for example when regular staff are absent. Working hours vary and you need to be able to work days, evenings, and weekends. We are looking for someone who is confident, attentive, flexible, and responsible. You have a genuine interest in working with children and young people and are good at building trust and security. You need to be able to adapt to different situations and individuals' needs. We value that you are calm, engaged, and have good collaboration skills. Education or previous experience within disability support services, functional support, care and support, pedagogical work, or similar is meritorious.
