Are you a flexible and engaged person who thrives with new challenges? Then you might be the person we're looking for! We are now seeking substitute workers for our meal service operations. As a substitute, you will have the opportunity to work in up to 17 different kitchens within preschool, primary school, secondary school, and elderly care. You will be an important resource that ensures our guests receive good, safe, and nutritious meals every day. The work involves being able to work at different units with short notice, depending on operational needs. Therefore, we are looking for someone who appreciates variety, adapts easily to new work environments, and quickly grasps different routines and work methods. As a substitute with us, your work tasks may include: • Preparation/cooking of breakfast, lunch, and snacks • Serving/preparation of special diets and allergen-free meals • Baking and simple catering assignments • Salad preparation and serving • Goods reception and inventory management • Self-inspection according to food legislation • Dishwashing, cleaning, and other kitchen duties • Work with sustainability and reduced food waste To thrive as a substitute with us, you need to be confident in your professional role, proactive, and solution-oriented. The work requires high levels of flexibility and availability. Staffing needs often arise with short notice on both weekdays and weekends. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability, flexibility, and availability for work with short notice. A driver's license and access to a car are advantageous as work may occur at several different locations and units within the municipality. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Has at least 3 years of experience working in a public kitchen, large-scale kitchen, or restaurant kitchen • Has good knowledge of food hygiene and self-inspection • Has knowledge of special diets and food allergies • Has basic computer skills and good computer proficiency • Speaks and writes Swedish fluently • Has good availability for work during weekdays • Can take work shifts with short notice • Is flexible and able to work at several of the municipality's kitchen units • Enjoys varied work where workplace, colleagues, and tasks may differ from day to day • Easily adapts to new work environments and work methods • Can work independently and take responsibility from the first day at a new workplace • Has a professional manner toward both colleagues and guests Cook training is a merit A driver's license and access to a car are advantageous as work may occur at several different locations and units within the municipality.
