As a substitute teacher at Bjärnums school, you can be called in on short notice to cover for regular staff absences. Assignments and placements may vary based on operational needs, your knowledge and experience, but will primarily be in grades 7-9.

Who are you?
The position requires at least completed upper secondary education and preferably previous experience working in school operations. In the role of substitute teacher, we would like you to be flexible and able to work in assignments as both a teacher and teaching assistant based on operational needs.
We are looking for someone who values human equality, respects each individual and sees differences as an asset, for both large and small individuals. Since the work involves being placed in different work teams, you need to be flexible, attentive, cooperative and have the ability to take own initiative. Your contribution is important for both the students and the staff at the school.
The position requires very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as you need to be able to communicate freely with students and teachers.

About us
The Department of Education and Child Care is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted school and cultural school. We work together for a learning environment where children, students and employees succeed and get to be their best. The department's task is to coordinate, plan and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.
Bjärnums school is an F-9 school, which together with Mala school forms a principal's area. Bjärnums school has approximately 360 students in F-9. The management consists of a principal and two assistant principals.
The school is located approximately 15 minutes' drive north of Hässleholm. There are also good train and bus connections to Bjärnum, where the school is within walking distance of the station.
