We are now recruiting substitute caregivers where there is high demand for additional staff and great opportunities for shifts. We are looking for personal assistants for a man with ALS. He has significant care needs and always works with at least two people together, sharing all aspects of the work. He has a tracheostomy and uses a ventilator 24/7. Cough assistance and tube feeding are part of the job duties. The man lives in the countryside, a few minutes' drive from central Jönköping, so a driver's license and vehicle are required. The household has both a dog and a cat, so you cannot be allergic to fur animals. Our client needs help with everything, including hygiene, exercise, cleaning, etc. It is an advantage if you have experience working in healthcare, but it is not required. A good personal fit between you and our client is most important. To be able to work with the client, you must speak and understand Swedish fluently, both spoken and written. The client has no spoken language, so it's important that you are attentive to his needs. Work Hours: Monday–Sunday awake night shifts 20:00–07:00 20:30–07:30 Initially, employment will be on an hourly basis, but for the right person, there is a possibility of a permanent position. You will shadow an experienced assistant until you feel confident in your duties.
