Alma Assistans is a dedicated company that works in collaboration with clients to create personalized assistance. We work closely with our clients and know that good relationships are the key to well-functioning assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our head office in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Göteborg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö. I am a 43-year-old woman with multiple disabilities looking for a personal assistant who can be my extended arms and legs in everyday life. The role involves supporting me in both personal care and various activities, both at home and outside. It is important that you can help me find the balance between activity and rest – and that you do so with respect, patience, and thoughtfulness. I communicate through body language and sign language, and people who know me well usually say that my communication is clear, so it is important that you are attentive, empathetic, and have a good ability to read situations. About you: You are a calm, empathetic, and responsible woman who enjoys working closely with another person. You are solution-focused, positive, and see the value in contributing to someone else's quality of life. Your work tasks may include: Assisting with personal hygiene and daily routines. Accompany me horseback riding and swimming – these are two of my great interests. Join me on walks and other activities. Create structure in everyday life and contribute to a safe environment. Meritorious experience includes: Previous experience in care and support. Knowledge of epilepsy. Driver's license. Being smoke-free. You as an applicant are: Responsive and empathetic. I use a wheelchair outdoors and make shorter transfers with the support of my assistants. Working hours: The work is scheduled for all hours of the day, including night shifts.
