This gives you the opportunity to control your own schedule and plan when you want to work. As a temporary substitute, you replace regular staff during shorter absences. This means you perform the work tasks that are part of the regular work at the workplace where you are assigned. Are you a reliable and flexible person who works well with others? As a substitute, you need to be able to adapt to new situations, since you may work at different locations and work hours can vary. As a person, you are service-oriented and understand the importance of good customer service. You work well with others and can adapt to changes. We believe that diversity, different skills, and experiences contribute to a good work environment. We conduct selection and hold interviews continuously – but the need for new temporary substitutes varies, which means the process can take different amounts of time. In meal service, you will have a creative and engaging job where you prepare and cook varied and nutritious meals. As a temporary substitute cook or kitchen assistant, you can work in both larger cooking kitchens and small standalone kitchens. It is an asset if you have education in restaurant and large-scale kitchen operations at the upper secondary or post-secondary level. Qualifications We place emphasis on personal qualities. To be suitable as a temporary substitute, you need to: communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing have computer skills It is an asset if you: have previous experience in the profession have a B driver's license and access to a car For work as a temporary substitute, a certificate from the criminal record register is required. The certificate should be for schools and preschools and is ordered through the Police website.
