The Staffing Center is now seeking substitute teachers who want to work as temporary replacements in our schools. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with children and young people and wants to contribute to a safe, educational, and positive school day. As a substitute teacher, you'll have the opportunity to work in different schools and with various age groups. Assignments can be both planned in advance and with short notice. WORK DUTIES As a substitute teacher, your tasks may include: • Teaching lessons based on the teacher's planning and the school's routines. • Being responsible for student safety and a conducive learning environment during the school day. • Supporting students in their learning and development. • Supervising recess and being a trusted adult for the students. • Following tasks and instructions from the responsible teacher or school management. • Adapting instruction to meet students' different needs and circumstances. • Collaborating with teachers and other school staff. • Assisting with other tasks in the school's operations as needed. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone who: • Has a genuine interest in children and young people • Is confident, responsible, and engaged • Works well with students and colleagues • Can create structure and a productive classroom environment • Is flexible and can adapt to different settings • Has good Swedish language skills, both written and spoken Employment Type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: Start date: 2026-09-14, End date: 2027-09-30. To work as a substitute teacher in our schools, you must be able to provide a clean criminal record certificate for work in schools/preschools. Before employment, a suitability assessment will also be conducted based on the job requirements and work with children and young people.
