JOB DUTIES
As an hourly nursing assistant on a care ward, you are expected to participate in daily work and your responsibilities include:
• basic patient care
• patient monitoring
• blood sampling (venous and capillary)
• wound dressing
• prevention of pressure injuries
Work is scheduled on weekdays and weekends and involves day, evening, and night shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, and it is a merit if you have experience in acute care. We also accept applications from nursing students who want to work alongside their studies.
You should be an organized person who can effectively organize and plan your work. You have good collaboration skills, handle stress constructively, and adapt when the situation requires it.
It is also important that you understand Swedish and express yourself well in speech and writing.
Since we recruit based on operational needs, you will be placed in the facility that needs hourly nursing assistants.
Region Kronoberg will conduct checks of the burden and suspicion register prior to employment in psychiatry, primary care, pediatrics, and gynecology.
Individual salary determination.
Salary form: Hourly wage.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months, start date: According to agreement.
Work hours: Day, evening, night.
