Swedavia is looking for you to provide professional service and meet new people every day!
We are seeking hourly employees who want to work with passenger service at Landvetter Airport. Swedavia's airports are meeting places for people, and regardless of our travelers' needs, we strive to ensure that everyone feels safe and welcome with us. In passenger service, we are responsible for the daily, operational work that enables travelers to smoothly, safely and efficiently get to and from the aircraft.
What does the role involve? With us, you will work with PRM, passengers with disabilities and provide support to people in need of special assistance, often due to reduced mobility. Your responsibility is to ensure that passengers safely and securely get to and from the aircraft with the assistance required. You will be an important part of the interaction between travelers and other actors at the airport, in work that takes place at a fast pace with a strong focus on service and quality. Before you start work, you will complete a training and will then have the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues to confidently enter the role.
At Göteborg Landvetter Airport, we work to develop multi-skilled employees who contribute to a flexible and efficient operation. This means that if needed, you may perform work tasks in other parts of the airport than your regular organizational affiliation. For you, this means a varied work day, the opportunity to broaden your skills and a deeper understanding of the airport's overall operations.
The position involves shift work as operations run 24/7. You therefore need to be able to work varying hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, and have the ability to get to and from the airport regardless of time of day. Our greatest need for extra staff is on weekdays, especially during early mornings.
Who are you? You have a positive attitude and a genuine interest in meeting people in different situations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are flexible and adapt easily to different conditions. You work both independently and in teams, take initiative and collaborate well with colleagues to contribute to a good work environment.
We are looking for someone who has:
B-level driver's license and access to a car
Previous experience in some form of service
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Since the work is sometimes demanding and includes, among other things, heavy lifting and many steps, you need to have the physical ability to handle it
Approved high school diploma
We consider the following as merits:
Additional language skills
Experience from sectors such as health & care, hotel & restaurant and reception
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling stressful situations
What do we offer? We offer a unique and dynamic workplace with high job satisfaction and fantastic colleagues. In this role, you will work with stimulating tasks and have the opportunity to meet people from around the world.
