JOB DUTIES
Do you want to make everyday life better for others? We are now seeking engaged and thoughtful support assistants for our group homes.
We have LSS group housing with a focus on elderly care and group housing with a focus on social psychiatry.
Our group homes are located in the areas Ängelholm, Hjärnarp, Munka-Ljungby and Vejbystrand.
As a support assistant, you will primarily work with creating security and supporting residents in their daily activities (ADL). You will be an important part of the work to promote independence and participation for residents in their everyday life. Through communication, planning and coordination, you will work to achieve the resident's goals in close collaboration with other professionals. Care work also occurs.
The work is based on respect for the resident's self-determination and integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Adequate education, such as healthcare and care program or children's and leisure program with focus on social or pedagogical work.
Meritorious with experience from similar work, especially within personal care, LSS activities and social psychiatry.
You should have a good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as well as good computer skills.
We are looking for someone who is calm, stable and comfortable handling complex situations. You should be able to work independently, but also have an easy time collaborating in a team.
We place great importance on personal suitability and seek someone who has a low-affect approach and good collaboration skills. You should be flexible, responsible and have an empathetic ability to understand and support individuals with different needs.
We work with systems such as Lifecare, Appva, Sensio alarm, TimeCare Pool, and it is an advantage if you have experience with these, but we also offer training in the systems we use.
