Job Description We are looking for a driven and technically minded Instrument Technician at Siemens Energy in Finspång! As an Instrument Technician at our client Siemens Energy in Finspång, you will have a varied role focused on handling, testing, and quality assurance of our instruments. You will be part of a team where precision and logical thinking are essential. The role includes: Packing orders with various instruments for customers. Cleaning and visually inspecting returned and outgoing instruments. Performing certain calibrations and functional tests as part of daily work. Troubleshooting and resolving occasional challenges that arise with the instruments. Please note that we do not accept applications via email. For questions about this position, please contact [email protected] Responsibilities Quality & Control: Ensure that all instruments shipped out meet the highest quality standards and are fully functional. Order & Inventory: Manage the practical workflow around packing and storage of instruments. Technical Handling: Perform basic maintenance, functional tests, and simple calibrations, and apply fundamental electrical and IT knowledge in daily work. Qualifications Technical Foundation: 3- or 4-year technical secondary education (or equivalent) with passing final grades. Post-secondary education is not required. Technical Understanding: You have a good understanding of basic electrical theory and technology (you are familiar with concepts such as Ohm's Law, DC and AC voltage, and closed circuits, and know what a multimeter/Fluke is and how to use it at a basic level). Hold a forklift certificate Have a strong safety mindset Experience working in an electrical workshop or with maintenance/repair of fine electronics. Experience with warehouse work and understanding of typical order flows and inventory management. Basic knowledge of electrical theory (from school or personal interest). Are technically quick to learn and find it easy to pick up new computer and electrical systems. Have logical thinking and good problem-solving skills when unexpected technical challenges arise.
