Technical Tester for Crime Prevention Systems in Norrköping Within the Swedish Police Authority's IT Department, we develop systems that are critical for Sweden's border control and give police better conditions to prevent and combat crime. We are now looking for technical testers for the Crime Prevention Systems Border Control section in Norrköping. In this role, you will help build national solutions with connections to EU-common systems and international collaborations. You will directly contribute to securing Sweden's internal and external borders. The section is responsible for technically complex flows and systems, where security, integrity, and usability are in focus for all our solutions. Our office is located in Norrköping where we offer both flexible office space and flexible working hours. Currently, there is also the possibility to work from home 2 days per week. Job Description: As a technical tester, you will have a central role with us where you contribute to our development by taking the lead in testing and planning and developing test strategies to deliver high-quality applications. As a technical tester with us, you lead and drive the work with test automation. The work is complemented by exploratory and manual testing. When needed, you also coach the team on testing matters. The work is conducted together with several other roles. You will be part of an agile, self-organizing team where you have great opportunities to influence your daily work and our technical choices. We work with continuous improvements and deliver the right thing at the right time through continuous, smaller deployments. Your main responsibilities include: Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for authorization flows, with manual testing as a complement. Develop and maintain test scripts. Maintain automated tests in pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance with each build. Report deviations, follow up on bugs, and verify that corrective actions are implemented before deployment. Collaborate with the business to understand needs and ensure that test scenarios reflect real-world use cases. Contribute to improving test processes and strategies specifically adapted for secure environments. Qualifications: This is an opportunity for you who have: Relevant post-secondary education in IT, preferably with a degree, or equivalent acquired experience that the Swedish Police Authority considers equivalent Several years of current and relevant work experience in testing that the Swedish Police Authority considers relevant Experience with test automation Experience working with Cucumber, Cypress, or similar tools Strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written The position requires Swedish citizenship.
