Do you want to be part of developing future bridge and infrastructure projects? As a technical specialist in building structures, you'll work on some of Sweden's most complex and societally important infrastructure projects. This role is perfect for you if you want to apply your technical expertise in bridge and infrastructure construction broadly—from technical reviews and design support to developing work methods, regulations, and future solutions in the field. Here you'll have the opportunity to influence both individual projects and the long-term development of Swedish transport infrastructure. Work Tasks In this role, you'll provide qualified technical support in our investment projects within road and rail. As a specialist, we work across different phases—from early planning and preparation of procurement documents to implementation and production. You contribute your specialist knowledge in bridge and infrastructure construction and are responsible for ensuring that technical solutions and documents meet applicable requirements, regulations, and project objectives. Your work will include: reviewing construction documents and technical solutions supporting project management in technical assessments and decisions participating in design meetings and technical coordination following up on technical deliverables during planning, design, and production cooperating with consultants, contractors, and construction management participating in procurement and evaluation of technical consulting services contributing to the development of work methods, procedures, and technical regulations in the field You'll be part of a national specialist network with high technical expertise and work closely with project management, consultants, and contractors throughout the entire project chain. You'll have many contact points both internally and externally, so it's important that you have strong collaboration skills and a desire to find balanced solutions that benefit project success. We're looking for someone who has: a civil engineering degree in Civil Engineering/Road and Water Construction with a focus on bridge structures, or alternatively another engineering degree combined with work experience that Trafikverket considers equivalent many years of current and relevant work experience assessing, managing, and independently preparing documents for bridge structures current and relevant experience working with industry documents, applicable regulations, and frameworks within the field of building structures good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing It's a merit if you have: many years of current and relevant work experience in design of bridge structures current and relevant experience working as a technical manager or project manager regarding building structures current and relevant work experience from planning and construction of rail and/or road current and relevant work experience from reviewing construction documentation regarding building structures in accordance with Trafikverket's regulations experience with BIM and/or Flatbox Other Information Do you want a flexible workday with the opportunity to work from home?
