About the Role
The role involves ongoing dialogue with managers and resource owners regarding resources and progress, as well as with product owners to ensure correct content and planning. The work is conducted according to a structured product development process (PDP) where a design brief defines goals, scope, and deliverables. Relevant resources are gathered to plan time, cost, and risks, with a focus on reasonable scope and ambition level. The number of projects led in parallel depends on the size and complexity of the projects. Generally, the role involves responsibility for approximately 3–5 projects simultaneously.
Your Responsibilities
Take overall responsibility for R&D projects and lead them from initiation through delivery and follow-up
Establish projects according to best practices and agile methods
Develop comprehensive project plans and break them down into concrete, achievable deliverables
Lead cross-functional teams, strengthen team spirit, and drive innovation in a multicultural environment
Focus on planning, follow-up, quality and cost control, and coordinate with STECO and resource owners to ensure successful results
Lead project meetings and support the team in solving technical challenges in a creative way
Collaborate with partners globally, and navigate between different cultures, work methods, and languages
Project teams typically consist of 3–10 members
We are looking for you with:
A college or university degree in mechanical engineering, engineering physics, or electrical design or electrical engineering, or similar educational background
At least 3 years of experience as a Sub-project Manager or Project Manager
Good proficiency in Swedish and English in speech and writing
It is advantageous if you have:
Experience with gas turbines is advantageous, especially knowledge from commissioning or design work
Experience leading projects related to control systems, core components, or package solutions is highly valued; experience with mechanical auxiliary systems or power generation is also beneficial
PMP certification or PMI certification
