Technical lead in automation for an international consulting assignment with placement in Linköping
For an international consulting assignment, we are seeking an experienced technical lead in automation who wants to take a central role in product engineering. You will be an important technical resource within control systems, PLC software and electrical hardware, with a focus on developing work methods, strengthening quality and creating shared standards across multiple product lines and locations.

Your Tasks
• Be a technical expert within control systems, PLC software and electrical hardware
• Provide advice and ensure that best practices are followed
• Drive improvements in processes, workflows and technical standards
• Ensure quality and compliance with technical specifications
• Define requirements for product development and engineering tools
• Coach and support colleagues through mentoring and knowledge sharing
• Drive global initiatives for harmonization within controls engineering
• Collaborate closely with product development, controls software and other technical teams
• Capture experiences from projects and carry them forward into product development
What You Should Know
This is a consulting assignment with placement in Sweden and international contact points. Travel occurs as needed, primarily within Europe. You will become part of a global product engineering context where you contribute to more uniform, efficient and quality-assured work methods.
Our Expectations
We are looking for someone with relevant education in electrical engineering, automation or a similar field, as well as experience from a technical role in automation, control systems or product development. Experience from logistics automation or intralogistics is a merit.
You have a good understanding of PLC software, electrical hardware and control systems. As a person, you are solution-oriented, communicative and confident in driving technical matters forward. You thrive in international collaborations, have an aptitude for creating structure and can manage multiple parallel tasks with a strategic perspective.
