About the Position
We are now seeking a technical buyer for a Swedish industrial company with strong international presence. The company operates in the manufacturing industry and develops and produces technically advanced products for the construction and infrastructure sectors.
You will become part of an engaged team and work closely with functions such as production, engineering, and development. The role involves full responsibility for your own supplier base and combines operational and strategic procurement work. You have an important role in ensuring delivery precision, developing supplier partnerships, and contributing to efficient procurement processes.
We'd like to see that you have experience from the manufacturing industry and thrive in an environment where engineering, production, and procurement work closely together. Your Responsibilities
As a technical buyer, you work with procurement of components related to mechanics and manufacturing, in close dialogue with both internal functions and international suppliers. You will, among other things:
Manage supplier contacts, forecasts, and purchase orders
Ensure deliveries and handle any deviations or claims
Coordinate technical information and drawings together with R&D
Drive price negotiations and develop long-term supplier relationships
Contribute to improvements and optimization of procurement processes
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Has 2–5 years of experience in procurement within manufacturing or similar industries
Has good system skills, preferably from business systems like Monitor
Has an understanding of technical drawings and industrial production
Has a genuine interest in technology and manufacturing
Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently
Desirable Qualifications
Post-secondary education in engineering, economics, or supply chain management
Personal Qualities
To thrive in this role, you are initiative-taking, analytical, and solution-oriented. You work in a structured manner, have a strong drive, and the ability to move your own work forward. You enjoy collaboration and have an easy time building and developing relationships both internally and externally.
What We Offer
Scope: Full-time, 40h/week.
Employment Type: Favorable consultant agreement via OIO, with good opportunities for extension and conversion to permanent position over time.
Working Hours: Office hours, 100% on-site in Rosersberg
