The Traffic Office is now recruiting a manager for road tunnels to the infrastructure technology unit, where approximately 18 employees are responsible for the operation and maintenance of installation technology in the city's road and utility tunnels, opening bridges, escalators, elevators, ground heating, fountains and emergency operations for electricity and ground heating, etc. Here you will have an important role in ensuring that the city's road tunnels function efficiently, safely and sustainably. Your role You will have management responsibility for the city's road tunnels, with a focus on operation and ongoing maintenance as well as long-term strategic maintenance planning of the tunnels' technical installations (e.g., electrical systems, stormwater drainage, fire alarms, fans, camera systems, sprinklers). You will lead construction managers and technical specialists in the work of managing and developing the installation technology in the tunnels. You will be part of a group of technical managers and specialists where you plan your work independently and where you plan activities within your responsibility both short and long term. Your work tasks include, among other things: • Plan, order and follow up on ongoing maintenance for road tunnels • Take responsibility for consultant and contractor agreements and procure new agreements • Monitor supplier performance against SLAs and contract terms • Lead, commission and evaluate investigations to maintain and improve functional reliability in road tunnels • Work with work environment, systematic fire safety work, SBA and other regulatory requirements • Make cost forecasts and budget follow-ups • Collaborate internally and externally to achieve our common board goals Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has • a technical engineering degree or equivalent experience that we consider equivalent • several years of experience in roles such as operations engineer, production manager, manager on the client side or project manager within infrastructure • Knowledge of or experience with contract law, LOU/LUF and the AF AMA system. • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing. It is a merit if you also have • Experience managing complex facilities such as road tunnels, utility tunnels or similar facilities with public or private actors • Been a team leader or similar • Good knowledge of work environment, SAM and fire safety and other regulatory requirements • Experience as a requirements setter in public procurement or as a bidder to a public client • Experience working in a politically governed organization As a person, you are initiative-taking and responsible and can perform multiple concurrent tasks. You are structured, clear in your communication and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
