As an electrical engineer at Regionfastigheter, you will play a central role in the development, management, and operation of the region's properties. You will contribute to the development of standards, maintenance, and technical solutions across all of Regionfastigheter. Region Värmland has properties throughout the region and is also undertaking one of the largest investments in the region's history – the development of Nya CSK. Your Workplace Regionfastigheter manages and develops facilities for the region's operations – currently approximately 490,000 square meters. We build new facilities, renovate existing ones, and are responsible for the operation of premises including healthcare, public transportation, culture, and education. We are a development-oriented property organization that aims to be at the forefront, particularly in the areas of environmental and energy efficiency. Nya CSK – A Project for the Future Region Värmland has begun its largest development project to date. The purpose is to create modern and fit-for-purpose healthcare environments that meet future needs while providing healthcare workers better conditions for new work methods and an improved work environment. Centralsjukhuset in Karlstad is the largest of Region Värmland's three hospitals and the hub of healthcare in Värmland. The renovation and expansion will take place over approximately 15 years and is a comprehensive project with complex technology, many interdependencies, and significant challenges. Your Responsibilities As an electrical engineer, you will collaborate with colleagues and other departments within Regionfastigheter on matters concerning standards, maintenance, and operational support. At the same time, you will be one of Region Värmland's representatives in electrical matters on Nya CSK. Together with colleagues, you are responsible for maintenance issues related to installed electrical systems. You will work long-term on planning and identifying future investment needs. The role also includes leading maintenance projects, tracking costs, and working with budgeting. You will, among other things: participate in construction projects and lead your own projects in the electrical field act as a requirements setter on electrical matters from a property owner perspective, both in operations and projects develop governing documents and guidelines for electrical work develop long-term plans for electrical and other technical installations in the region's properties participate in developing the database of Regionfastigheter's electrical installations stay abreast of technical developments in the field work on energy efficiency quality assure drawings and property documentation provide support and service regarding property information to internal and external stakeholders as well as to healthcare operations follow up on and quality assure documentation, including relationship records. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for someone with academic education in the electrical field or equivalent work experience in electrical work, for example from property management or industry. You have at least five years of experience in similar work and have worked with electrical systems in advanced and installation-intensive environments, such as hospitals. Experience from process industry or manufacturing is also relevant. Since we want to strengthen the organization's expertise in high-voltage systems, experience and knowledge in high-voltage work is desirable. We would like to see that you have: experience in project work experience in contract law good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other common IT tools good knowledge of Swedish and English Class B driver's license knowledge and experience with PLC systems. To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible, development-oriented, and have strong collaboration skills. You are confident working independently and can make decisions based on your professional judgment. You have a strategic perspective and see the bigger picture, with the ability to assess the long-term significance and consequences of various decisions.
