Making Complex Technology Clear Are you technically curious, enjoy writing, and have the ability to make the complex understandable? We're now looking for a technical writer who wants to help ensure our advanced products and systems receive technical documentation with the same high quality and precision as the technology behind them. Here you'll have a role close to both the product and the people behind it. You collaborate with various technical experts and become an important link between technical information and the users and customers who need to understand it. About the Job As a technical writer, you will create, develop, and ensure quality of technical product documentation within our projects and product support assignments. This might include, for example, instruction and repair manuals, spare parts catalogs, training materials, and other technical publications. You work closely with engineers, product managers, and other functions to gather and understand technical materials and translate them into clear, accurate, and usable documentation. The role also includes a clear coordinating responsibility. You plan and manage documentation deliveries within your area and coordinate your own and others' work for delivery. Through reviews and feedback from users, you also contribute to continuously improving the quality of both the documentation and our working methods. You will, among other things: Create and maintain technical product documentation within projects and product support assignments. Work with, for example, instruction and repair manuals, spare parts catalogs, and training materials. Review and edit technical documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency. Collaborate with technical functions to gather and ensure information quality. Plan and coordinate documentation deliveries within your area of responsibility. Lead and manage your own and others' work for deliveries. Gather user feedback and contribute to continuous improvements. Qualifications We're looking for someone with: Education in engineering, communication, or a related field. Experience in publication development and technical documentation, or alternatively a technical background combined with strong documentation skills. Strong ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear and accessible text. Excellent written communication skills. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Ability to plan, lead, and coordinate work. As a person, you are thorough and quality-conscious while also being flexible and solution-oriented. You thrive with many points of contact, take responsibility for driving your work forward, and have the ability to create structure even when multiple deliveries are running in parallel.
