About the Operation

The Medical Technology operation is part of the Regional Management Administration under the Support and Services/Healthcare Technology area and functions as a revenue-financed profit center. Medical Technology is responsible for providing technical support to healthcare for patient-facing medical technology equipment throughout Region Västernorrland. The operation, which is quality-certified according to ISO 9001, currently has approximately 35 employees, of which approximately half are in Sundsvall.
We are looking for a technician to join us. The work requires great consideration for the operation and an accommodating approach. To give you good conditions for getting started in your work, a team member will serve as your mentor during the introduction period. This position is a permanent full-time employment with start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Location: Sundsvall.
Work Tasks
You will work with corrective and preventive maintenance as well as functional and safety inspections of medical technology equipment. The work area covers hospitals, primary care, and home healthcare.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who
Has secondary education in electrical or electronics
Has a Class B driver's license
Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written
It is meritorious if you
Have higher education or other advanced education as an engineer or equivalent
Have practical experience with service and maintenance of technical equipment
