Granitor is now seeking a building automation technician to join our team in Gävle. As a technician, you'll have a varied role combining technology, problem-solving, and customer interaction. You'll work with programming, design, and commissioning in projects of different sizes – from smaller tenant modifications to larger building complexes. Job responsibilities As a building automation technician, you'll work with programming, design, and commissioning in contracting projects of varying sizes. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in the entire process and work both from our Gävle office and at customer sites in the Gävle area. Examples of job tasks: Design control systems, such as PLC, IP structures, room controls, and communication loops Work with PLC programming Design and program HMI Commission your own and others' programming Troubleshoot and optimize control and automation solutions Work with technical documentation and specifications Collaborate with project managers, technicians, installers, and other project team members Contact customers and provide technical problem-solving support Contribute to developing smart, energy-efficient, and sustainable solutions We're looking for you who: have experience or knowledge in building automation, control systems, or PLC programming have electrical training have good system understanding of HVAC technical systems can communicate fluently in Swedish and have good English skills have a B-class driver's license Meriting qualifications: Experience with SAIA, Beckhoff, WebPort, or similar PLC/SCADA platforms Installation experience or understanding of control cabinet construction Experience working in contracting projects You're a person who enjoys solving problems and thrives in a technical and varied daily environment. You're curious, responsible, and have a natural interest in how technical systems work and can be developed.
