About the Role
As a technician at OpenUp, you will, among other things:
Work with installation and setup of primarily swing and sliding door automations.
Perform troubleshooting and ongoing service and maintenance work.
Work with products and systems that combine mechanics, electrical, automation, and software.
Handle tasks related to other products in OpenUp's broad product portfolio.
Document and report completed work in the company's systems.
Plan and structure your work days based on current assignments.
The work is varied and combines independent tasks with collaboration among colleagues. You will work from home with a service vehicle and work largely on local assignments in and around Gothenburg, though travel to other locations may occur.
The position involves some overnight stays. During periods of extensive travel, this can mean approximately 4–6 travel days per month, but it is not a role where you regularly stay away for entire work weeks. Single overnight stays in connection with various assignments are more common.
Employment Terms
Full-time, starting immediately or by agreement.
Great freedom with responsibility and flexibility in your work day.
You will work from home with a service vehicle.
Business travel and overnight stays occur as needed.
The first few months involve training with a more experienced colleague.
OpenUp offers internal training and you will continue to develop in the role over time.

Advantages include experience in installation, electrical work, automation, mechanics, automotive mechanics, service, assembly, or other technically oriented work. If you have worked practically with tools and are experienced in solving technical problems, we see this as a major advantage.
Requirements
B-class driver's license.
Swedish language skills (spoken and written).
You must be able to travel for work and be comfortable with overnight stays as needed.
You must have the right to work in Sweden.
