About the Role
As a technician at OpenUp, you will:
Work with installation and assembly of swing and sliding door automations.
Perform troubleshooting and ongoing service and maintenance work.
Work with products and systems that combine mechanics, electrical systems, automation, and software.
Handle tasks related to other products in OpenUp's broad product portfolio.
Document and report completed work in the company's systems.
Plan and structure your workdays based on current assignments.
The work is varied and combines independent assignments with collaboration with colleagues. You will work from home with a service vehicle and work primarily on local assignments in and around Gothenburg, but travel to other locations occurs.
The position involves some overnight stays. During periods with extensive travel, this may mean approximately 4–6 travel days per month, but it is not a role where you regularly spend entire work weeks away. More common are occasional overnight stays in connection with various assignments.
Employment Terms
Full-time, starting immediately or by agreement.
Significant autonomy and flexibility in your workday.
You will work from home with a service vehicle.
Business travel and overnight stays occur as needed.
The first months involve training with a more experienced colleague.
OpenUp offers internal training and you will continue to develop in the role over time.

Desirable experience includes installation, electrical work, automation, mechanics, automotive mechanics, service, assembly, or other technically oriented work. If you have practical experience with tools and are accustomed to solving technical problems, we see that as a major advantage.
Requirements
Category B driver's license.
Swedish (spoken and written).
You must be able to travel for work and be comfortable with overnight stays as needed.
You must have the right to work in Sweden.
