Do you want to take overall responsibility for maintenance and technology at Gudrun's factory in Jordbro? We're looking for someone who wants to ensure stable and efficient production, develop our maintenance operations, and lead a small technical team. As Maintenance and Technical Manager, you'll have a central role with responsibility for the entire factory's technical operations and maintenance – from production equipment and technical installations to facilities and outdoor environment.
About the Role
You have overall responsibility for maintenance and technology of the entire factory in Jordbro. Your mission is to ensure high operational reliability, minimize production downtime, and develop structured and preventive maintenance. You lead the maintenance and technology function and have personnel responsibility for a small team. The role is both operational and development-focused, and you work closely with production, quality, and other functions.
Your main responsibilities include:
Lead, plan, and develop maintenance and technology work
Ensure high operational reliability and availability in production
Plan and develop preventive and corrective maintenance
Responsible for maintenance of production equipment, machinery, and technical installations
Responsible for facilities and technical systems such as cooling, ventilation, water, plumbing, and electrical
Drive technical improvement, investment, and development projects
Coordinate contractors, service companies, and suppliers
Responsible for service, inspections, and technical documentation
Ensure the maintenance system is used for planning, work allocation, fault reporting, feedback, and follow-up
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident and solution-oriented leader with broad technical understanding. You thrive close to operations and can combine daily operations with long-term and structured improvement work.
We see that you have:
Several years of experience in technology, operations, and maintenance within industry or production
Experience leading or supervising a technical team
Good technical understanding of mechanics, electrical, and/or automation
Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance
Experience working systematically in maintenance systems
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Class B driver's license
For us, experience with maintenance systems is important. We work in Mainter, where maintenance work is planned, allocated, documented, and followed up. You therefore need to understand the value of using the maintenance system as the hub of the entire maintenance process – from operator fault reporting to completed work and feedback.
Meritorious
Experience from food processing, process, or manufacturing industry
Experience with Mainter or similar maintenance systems
Knowledge of PLC and automation
Experience with cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and facilities technology
Experience with technical investments and improvement projects
Relevant technical education in maintenance, electrical, automation, mechanics, or equivalent
