Urban Green Space Technician
Work commitment: 40 h/week, i.e. 1.0 full-time equivalent
Place of work: Plzeň
Employment contract: for a definite period with later possibility for an indefinite period
Expected start date: by mutual agreement
Salary grade: 10
in the range 27,030 - 38,990,- Kč + variable salary component, which may represent 25-40% of annual income (personal allowance, bonuses). Salary is governed by Government Regulation No. 341/2017 Coll. and depends on achieved experience.
General job description:
comprehensive maintenance and management of urban green spaces on assigned property (in terms of assignment, inspection and acceptance of work)
processing of routine documentation for property management, performing administrative and technical work,
statements on interventions in green spaces in accordance with the Building Act as currently in effect
participation in meetings with City of Plzeň authorities (City Hall), Municipal District Office and organizations within the scope of job assignment
ensuring agenda related to assigned property
independently conducting inspections, monitoring tree health status, ensuring expert assessments and recommending arboricultural interventions to ensure tree safety and vitality,
ensuring expert measurements and evaluation of tree condition and proposing their maintenance as well as entire tree groups.
prepares analyses, methodologies of operational activities related to ensuring the stability of the dendrological potential of the City of Plzeň,
to discuss and approve requests from other parties for interventions in woody plants,
Qualifications and professional requirements:
education - we prefer university degree in horticulture, arboriculture, landscape architecture, green space management, garden and landscape implementation, forestry, agriculture or secondary education in a related field with field experience
driver's license category B,
knowledge of PC work (MS Office).
