Do you want to lead a team within prevention work? Are you interested in contributing to the Social Administration's development of first-line services and efforts? We are one of the entry points to the Social Administration. We have an important mission to contribute to increased safety in prioritized areas by offering Eskilstuna residents early interventions. We work at preschools, schools, and throughout Eskilstuna's various neighborhoods. We offer open services to children, young people, and guardians at both individual and group levels. You will be part of two units where you have many colleagues to collaborate with. Here you get room for your drive and genuine interest in social prevention work. We are centrally located in Eskilstuna within walking distance to the central station. We are proud of the initiative "Safe Children and Young People." Through collaboration with schools, leisure activities, the regional health authority, and government agencies, we strengthen protective factors for children and young people, focusing on those with risk factors. You can read more about this initiative here: https://www.eskilstuna.se/kommun-och-politik/trygg-och-saker-stad/trygga-barn-och-unga 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You have a central role in leading, coordinating, and developing the operations. Your assignment involves leading and distributing daily work and providing close support to employees in their development. An important part of the role is guiding and supporting colleagues in their work and contributing to operations characterized by quality, participation, and a shared focus on the best interest of the child. You lead group coordinators for parenting support, group activities, and preventive social workers within the team. The assignment also includes leading family counselors working at family centers and creating good conditions for coordinated and efficient prevention work. The role involves a strong focus on development and change work where you drive and implement improvements based on operational needs and goals. You are part of a joint management group with Unit 2, meaning two managers and four team leaders who lead the units together. Collaboration is a natural part of the assignment. You work closely with both internal and external partners and build long-term relationships to strengthen prevention work. Your team has extensive collaboration with schools, culture and leisure activities, police, and other public actors. Area-based work and presence in the local community are important parts of the operations to identify needs early and create safe conditions for children and young people. QUALIFICATIONS You are a social worker or behavioral scientist and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's eligibility requirements. We want you to have work experience in social work and school collaboration. It is meritorious if you have leadership experience and experience working with parenting support. To thrive in the role, you need a good ability to build contacts and maintain relationships. You have a genuine child rights perspective, a focus on residents, and knowledge and interest in prevention work. In a responsible and self-directed manner, you create engagement and bring others along and drive the work toward set goals. You are good at creating a comprehensive overview. It is important that you are clear in your communication and have the ability to make decisions. You willingly come with suggestions and ideas that you work through with your team to implement in practice and thus develop the work. As a team leader, you are confident in yourself and dare to meet your employees' need for support. Before employment, you must provide a current police register extract. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Indefinite. Working hours: Daytime. Work in the evenings and on weekends may occur.
