About the job
Position type: Permanent full-time employment with probation period.
Start date: October 1, 2026 or by agreement.
Work hours: Early mornings, daytime, late evenings, and weekends are a natural part of the work.
We welcome applicants of all ages, but due to the Work Environment Act, you must be 18 years old to work in our meat department.
You put the finishing touch on the customer experience
You have the chance to make a significant impact on our customers' visits, so you have an important mission to make the customer experience smooth and pleasant. This might mean a friendly smile, an unexpected question, or a helpful attitude, so the customer finds what they need in the store. You'll make sure the customer leaves satisfied—and hopefully with an extra item in their basket and a good feeling!
What will you do?
Each day brings new meetings and challenges, but some of your main responsibilities are:
Ensure daily operations run smoothly by leading and distributing work.
Be a role model in customer interactions and inspire colleagues so our customers leave the store feeling they've had a world-class customer experience.
Together with the Sales Manager, be responsible for planning, placing orders, following up, and developing work in the department.
Work on coordinating resources and ensuring expertise is used efficiently to reach set goals.
Work with cutting fresh Swedish meat, cut in-store.
Contribute to offering our customers a fresh and inviting meat and deli department.
Collaborate with colleagues throughout the store—we are a team and help wherever needed!
You report to the Sales Manager for Fresh Produce, who has personnel responsibility for the department.
Who are you?
You are a natural problem-solver who enjoys pace and energy. A friendly greeting and a desire to inspire and develop other people are a given for you. Do you have a strong interest in really good meat and selling products? Great! Do you have previous leadership experience? Even better!
We believe you:
Have a high school education and speak and write Swedish fluently. Since our customers speak more languages, it's wonderful if you do too.
Have a couple of years of previous experience working in the meat/cutting field.
Have previous experience in leadership, store economics, and sales—that's a plus.
Have previous training or a journeyman/master's certificate in meat—that's a plus.
Love meeting customers and believe service should be genuine and engaged.
