Key Responsibilities
If you want overall responsibility for one or more departments and lead staff members, the role of Team Lead Checkout is perfect for you. Below is what it means to be a Team Lead at Hemköp:
You are responsible for purchasing and sales, and for ensuring the department achieves our jointly set goals.
You are responsible for ensuring customers have a good experience with us. The customer is at the core of our business, and therefore daily customer interaction is important for creating a positive store experience.
Together with your team members, you will secure profitability and ensure routines are followed, as well as monitor gross profit and sales.
As Team Lead, you have personnel responsibility. This includes ensuring employees receive the right information, develop, feel comfortable, and that work in the store runs smoothly and well. You will also be part of the store's management team.
Position Details: Permanent full-time employment, probation period applies.
Start Date: 2026-11-01 or by agreement.
Working Hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends.
What We Expect
Being passionate about food, good at driving sales, and enjoying working with people are prerequisites for this role. Below is what else we expect from you as a Team Lead at Hemköp.
You should have knowledge of the products within your area of responsibility.
You need to be familiar with basic financial metrics and have experience working in a store.
As Team Lead, your leadership is important. You need to be good at explaining routines, describing which goals the store should reach, and what challenges exist.
You need to be comfortable with a fast pace. Equally important is that you can delegate work, give and receive feedback, and that you are not afraid to drive through changes.
