Internationella Engelska Skolan i Huddinge is seeking flexible substitute teachers for grades 6-9 About Us! We have approximately 450 students in grades 6-9, and the school is located between Visättra and Solgård in Huddinge municipality, an area undergoing major transformation into a dynamic work and residential area! This allows our teachers more time to share their knowledge with both students and colleagues. Your own teaching as an educator takes place in Swedish, but we speak English among colleagues. As a substitute, you are part of the daily work and actively contribute to creating a stimulating and developmental environment with the student at the center. You are a positive role model for the children in all situations. You are active, responsive, and take responsibility. Together with permanent staff, you contribute to giving students the best conditions to succeed. A pleasant atmosphere and good collaborative climate are key to our success. This is also the foundation for creating continuity that guides and supports our students throughout their school years and helps them achieve their goals. This is You! Substituting in grades 6-9 means you cover lessons according to the existing lesson planning. You need to be flexible and able to improvise. It is also important to build relationships with our students and be responsive to their needs. At the same time, it is important to take adult responsibility and set boundaries. IES Huddinge has clear guidelines in hallways and classrooms and clear leadership in lessons. We are looking for someone who: - Has relevant education or is studying a teaching qualification - Has experience working with children and youth - Has completed Swedish at upper secondary level equivalent to SAS 3, with documentation of completed education, and masters Swedish very well in both speech and writing - Has a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor - Is engaged and takes responsibility - Takes own initiative and has good collaborative skills - Easily adapts to new working methods and routines Recruitment Process We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis.
