We are now recruiting additional drivers for our team in Umeå. We prefer candidates with at least 10% employment level. As an on-call driver, you have significant control over your work schedule. You can choose quite freely which days and times you want to work. If you are interested in full-time or part-time positions, that is also of interest to us.
For these positions, employment can start as soon as possible and onwards. Before employment begins, training in company procedures and equipment will be conducted.
We especially welcome applicants who already hold a taxi license, but we also accept applicants interested in obtaining a taxi license if you feel like the right person for our organization. If you don't have a taxi license, we can offer assistance with your studies to obtain one (study materials, etc.). We also cover the costs of obtaining the taxi license (exam fees, medical examination, etc.).

Your tasks are to perform trips as a taxi driver for Min Taxi's customers in Umeå and surrounding municipalities, and to provide our customers with truly excellent service in the best possible way. Taxi driving is a very service-oriented profession with significant customer contact. It is easy to think that taxi driving is mainly about trips to/from clubs on weekend evenings, as this is often what people associate taxi with as private individuals. Driving taxi for us is primarily about performing publicly-funded traffic on weekdays. These are medical trips for regions, school trips, and transportation service trips for municipalities. But also quite a lot of business trips for corporate customers. You constantly work with people and are often a key part of their daily lives for getting to/from healthcare facilities, schools, work, etc.
We cover a large geographic area and operate traffic in large parts of Norrland. For example, we have vehicles stationed in Boden, Kalix, Luleå, Nordmaling, Robertsfors, Sollefteå, Vindeln, Vännäs, Umeå, and Örnsköldsvik municipality. It is not uncommon for us to have many longer trips across municipal boundaries, and throughout large parts of Norrland. We currently have approximately 185 vehicles and approximately 300 employed drivers.
In addition to performing trips and taking care of our customers, your duties include keeping the vehicles you use for trips clean and well-maintained.
