We are now recruiting additional drivers for our team in Umeå. We are seeking full-time drivers, part-time drivers, and extra drivers. As a full-time or part-time driver, you will work according to a rotating schedule. As an extra driver, you choose which shifts you want to work, but the company requests that employees maintain a minimum service level of 10%.
For these positions, employment starts as soon as possible and hiring is ongoing. Before employment begins, you will receive training in the company's procedures and equipment.
We are primarily looking for applicants who already hold a taxi license, but we also welcome applicants interested in obtaining a taxi license if you seem like the right person for our organization. If you don't have a taxi license, we can offer assistance with your studies to obtain one (study materials, etc.). We also cover the costs of obtaining your taxi license (exam fees, medical examination, etc.).

Driving taxi for us is primarily about offering excellent service, and it's a great advantage if you enjoy customer interaction and are sociable. You work with customer contact on every trip, and you play an important role in the daily lives of those who use our services.

Your tasks as a taxi driver include transporting Min Taxi's customers in Umeå and surrounding municipalities, providing our customers with excellent service in every way possible. Taxi driving is a very service-oriented profession with lots of customer contact. It's easy to think that taxi is about transporting people to and from bars on weekend nights, as this is what people often associate with taxis. But that is actually a very small part of the job. Taxi work for us is primarily government-funded daytime traffic. It's medical transport for regions, school runs, and mobility service trips for municipalities. There are also many business trips for corporate customers. You work constantly with people and are often key to their daily lives, helping them get to and from healthcare facilities, schools, work, etc.
We cover a large geographic area and operate in much of Norrland. We have vehicles stationed in Boden, Kalix, Luleå, Nordmaling, Robertsfors, Vindeln, Vännäs, Umeå, and Örnsköldsvik municipality. It's common for us to have many longer trips across municipal boundaries and throughout much of Norrland. We currently have approximately 185 vehicles and approximately 300 employed drivers.
In addition to performing trips and taking care of our customers, your responsibilities include keeping the vehicles you drive clean and well-maintained.
