Information About the Workplace We are a well-established dental care clinic centrally located in Uppsala, just beside the Fyris River. Our clinic has a strong focus on quality and patient satisfaction. With five treatment rooms and a dedicated team consisting of two dentists, one dental hygienist, three dental hygienists, and a receptionist/coordinator, we offer general adult and pediatric dental care as well as some specialist dental services in the form of oral surgery. Job Responsibilities As a dental hygienist with us, you will have a central role in our team. Your responsibilities will include: Standard assistance to the dentist during treatments and active participation in the care process. Independently perform support treatments on caries and periodontal patients. Make temporary restorations and scan digital impressions for prosthetic treatments. Administer infiltration anesthesia as needed. Perform routine sterilization work. Assist during oral surgery procedures together with our oral surgeon. Take responsibility for your designated area related to the clinic's routines and structured quality work. Of course, we will support you through an onboarding process where we ensure you gradually learn all procedures and feel comfortable in your role, but previous experience with the mentioned tasks is considered an advantage. Qualifications We are looking for someone with ideally several years of experience as a dental hygienist, and who thrives in a responsible and varied role. Clinical experience, preferably with delegated patient work. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with digital workflows such as scanning and journal systems. We use FRENDA. Ability to administer infiltration anesthesia is a merit. Personal Qualities You are thoughtful and engaged, with a strong patient focus. You have good teamwork skills and enjoy working in a team. Ability to take own initiative is appreciated. You are organized and have the ability to oversee, plan, and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
